If you are coming from out of town to enjoy the Wee Dub Festival, and need a place to stay, there are loads of options in the centre of town, near the Wee Dub Venues. From budget hostels, private apartents to guest houses and hotels, you’ll find something to suit your needs. The time of year is off-peak so you should be able to find a bargain, and make your Wee Dub weekend in Edinburgh extra special.
Edinburgh is a popular backpacker destination, so there are loads of backpacker hostels in the city centre to choose from, most within a few minutes walk of the Wee Dub venues.
We officially recommend staying at Haggis Hostel on the East End of Princes Street, just 10 minutes walk from the action. Quote ‘WEEDUB5’ when you book to receive a 20% discount.
Haggis Hostel have large dorms, 4-bed rooms and family rooms available, all at a very good price, especially with your Wee Dub discount rate!
If you want to go more upmarket, there are of course lots of hotels to choose from. The centre of town can be quite expensive, but here some on the cheaper end of the scale and located right in the action.
Apartments and Guest Houses
If you are coming with a group of friends then an apartment or guest house could be a good idea. There are lots of options available. A good place to start looking is Air B&B, the Visit Scotland website, or a search site like Late Rooms.
