Nem is a visual artist and DJ based in Scotland. She has been collecting vinyl from a young age and 15 years ago began to play out as a selector DJ, when at University in Carlisle. It was here she started her ‘Rum and Pineapple’ reggae/hiphop night. It has since moved from there to Essex and Edinburgh. Also in Edinburgh Nem had a residency slot at The Jazz Bar for 5 years. She is well known throughout the UK for her good vibe selections. She regularly performs at big events such as Boomtown, The Wee Dub Festival, Eden, Solfest, Beat Hearder, Insider and Kelburn Garden Party. She has warmed up for many artists including The Abyssinians, Julian Marley and Dillinger
