Glasgow-based Maxi is a long term Wee Dub friend, being the band leader and bassist behind previous Wee Dub guests Mezzanine Allstars.

His Maxi Roots solo project focuses on a more straight ahead digital steppa and rub-a-dub sound inspired by Glasgow brethren Mungo’s Hi-Fi, King Tubby, King Jammy among others. Maxi has also invited well known German MC Longfingah to fly in for the show.

So these two will be helping warm up Session 2 nicely with their new live set through Electrikal Soundsystem.
