Wee Dub Club #4: Dub Smugglers

wdc4-web-jpeg Wee Dub Club returns! Our irregular series of clubnights designed to keep the Wee Dub spirit alive and to introduce new artists to Edinburgh.

This time round we welcome Manchester’s soundsystem champions for an Edinburgh debut – Dub Smugglers – up to Edinburgh to showcase their toppermost quality productions. Dub Smugglers have been smashing it on the festival circuit these last couple years – from Boomtown to Outlook and plenty in between – both with their tune selection and their beautiful soundsystem. They count Mungo’ Hi-Fi, Earl Gateshead and Mr Scruff as fans.

“The Dub Smugglers are the most exciting new Sound System on the Planet.” Earl Gateshead / Trojan Sound System

Support comes from Wee Dub brethren Riddim Tuffa Sound (with Dangerman) and Edinburgh dub originator Messenger sound.

So come along and help us revisit the Wee Dub vibes and welcome Manchester’s finest on their first trip to Edinburgh.
